Dedicated Servers

In stock systems will be setup within 2 hours* of the payment being processed, but making hardware modifications may prevent us from delivering a system within this time frame. If you need a server other than what is listed please email sales. If you are looking for managed servers or additional bandwidth options please check out the offerings of our parent company, Steadfast Networks.

All dedicated servers are located in the fully redundant Steadfast Networks data center in downtown Chicago, IL and on a fully redundant, Cisco powered, DDoS protected network powered by Savvis, PCCW Global, XO Communications, TeliaSonera, and local peering. We do provide 24/7 on-site support, though all of our servers are unmanaged. Being unmanaged we will provide you with an operational operating system and control panel (if requested) on initial installation and with full hardware and network support. There will be no software support offered, but if you want managed services we recommend contacting a third party management company.

Any version of Linux or FreeBSD can be installed on our dedicated servers; some may need to be specifically requested. We highly recommend CentOS 4.x or 5.x and if you need a control panel we highly recommend Interworx. Windows 2003 Web Edition and Red Hat Enterprise Linux can also be installed for an additional $20 a month. Plesk (30 domain license), Interworx (35 domain license), Helm (20 domain license) and DirectAdmin control panels can be installed for $10 a month extra. Larger licenses for Plesk, Interworx, and Helm can also be installed for additional fees as well as cPanel, which you can find at the bottom of this page. All dedicated servers come standard with 1 usable IP, but up to 8 additional IPs can be requested at no additional charge by emailing us at ips@pooled.net. All IP allocations require proper ARIN justification. Additional RAM, hard drives, and IPs can also be purchased.

* - 2 hour setup and free setup only apply to servers ordered with CentOS 5 and no control panel. In either case setup will take more than 2 hours and if an operating system other than CentOS 5 is ordered there will be a $19.95 setup fee. Payments are only processed during normal sales office business hours.
